Will Manny pass Willie Mays in career home runs?

OK, I predicted this will eventually happen, way back in 1994 or 1995. Remember Manny’s second game ever, in 1992? He hit two homers and a ground rule double against the Yankees. You should have known even then—looking at that sweet swing—that he was destined for greatness. Manny will pass 450 homers in 2006 and may pass 600 when all is said and done. Mays had 660. You never know.
