Which closer will close the year?
Which closer will close the year with the Sox?
With Keith Foulke hurt, Jonathan Papelbon picked up the ball and went nuts, leading the majors in saves. That works.

...don't fix it. Papelbon is a natural-born closer & they'd be nuts to move him back into the rotation this year. I'd have to imagine that the scenario would be as follows: Wells can't come back (and the latest reports are not looking good), Wakefield continues to struggle with no run support, Lester & Hansen both turn out to be busts at the big league level, and it essentially comes down to Schilling and Beckett. In fact, if Papelbon continues at his present perfect rate, I think the Sox would be hard-pressed to move him back in 2007.
