Was the Arroyo-for-Pena trade a mistake?
Do we miss Bronson Arroyo, traded just before the season to get Pena? Arroyo went 5-0 to start the season in the Cincinnati Reds rotation. Ouch. Oh yeah, it would be nice to still have him.

The rotation sure could use the wins and the innings. Curt Schilling has been great, Josh Beckett has had his fine moments. Tim Wakefield ought to pick it up now that his designated catcher Doug Mirabelli is back on the Sox. Matt Clement needs to come around..

The Arroyo trade was a huge mistake. Wily Mo isn't even here anymore and even when he was no one could get one thing into his mind.
"Do not swing at those breaking balls outside!"

Arroyo had a great '06 but a slightly down '07 but was still an innings eater.

The Sox could have used him when all of their starters went down in '06.

That brings up the fact, "You can never have enough pitching."
