Tavares doesn't have the chip on his shoulder that Boyd always seemd to have. He genuinely seems happy to be here an appreciative of the chance to play for the Sox. I actually think Boyd was a better pitcher but the clubhouse attitude was hard overcome. Plus I think Tavares is much more entertaining!!!
