I'm 46 years old & was one of 3 Red Sox fans in my entire extended family. Everybody else was a Yankee fan. *violins playing* I routinely forget birthdays & anniversaries, to return calls & emails, but I can tell you where I was, what I was doing, and who was with me for just about every pivotal Sox moment in the last 40 years. I have a black Lab named Dickens who also follows the Sox & is a big fan of David Ortiz. He gets really excited and jumps around when Big Papi hits a homer. My partner insists it's because he thinks I'm shouting "Let's go, Puppy!" but I know better.
